The ICPNA Halls are designed for competition but with an open setting. The selection of artwork to be exhibited begins with the gathering of the pieces as it undergoes the scrutiny of the judges. In each instance, the decision denotes the appreciation captured at that very moment. The practice is a refreshing experience conducive to dialogue and interaction among the judges, allowing for actual opportunities to grant prizes to works of various natures, thus renewing the art scene. The public visiting the ICPNA Halls has always been rewarded in this process, which is an acute reflection of the foresight with which judges have been chosen through the years. But above all, it points to the commitment shared by Peruvian artists before serious contests that have been scrupulously designed and with impeccable convocations.
